We have donated 2 fishing vacations for our local chapter of Crime Stoppers to give away. With the current rates for 3 to 7 days running at $1015 to $1265 per person, that makes each trip worth between $2030 and $2530.

Until June 2009, you won’t need a passport. We have the highlights below and you can follow the links to the appropriate web sites for more Linn County Crime Stoppers is seeking donations from anyone who supports their efforts to make our communities safer and in return will provide one ticket for every $5 donation.

Their publicly held drawing is always held the last Saturday in April and you naturally need not be present to win! You’ll be promptly notified. For the sake of maximizing their revenue in this endeavor, your ticket stubs will be retained and your canceled check will be your receipt. If by chance, you need the stubs, adding 50 cents to cover postage and supplies would help out. Checks must be received by April 25th. Any checks arriving too late for the drawing will be returned.

These trips must be taken in the 2008 or 2009 season and in the event you are already booked and coming as part of a group, your current deposit would be refunded or utilized for other incidentals you might need.
